Evidence of academic merit showing an achievement of at least 80% in undergraduate studies
English Essay: Must submit a 1-page English essay on reasons for applying for the scholarship, benefits to be gained from the course of study including education & career plans

A completed Deakin International Scholarship Program application form

A personal statement (300 words)

A completed application to study at Deakin including academic transcripts.

The personal statement must be written by the applicant and reflect the applicant’s personal views. It should contain:
– an outline of why the applicant wants to study at Deakin University
– an overview of any extracurricular activities and work experience (paid or voluntary) the applicant has undertaken
– why the applicant thinks he/she would make an outstanding ambassador for Deakin University
– any other information that will assist in the application.
