The Malaysian Australian Alumni Council (The MAAC) & Curtin University Malaysia Alumni Chapter have the pleasure of inviting you to attend the Inspiring Orchid Women Empowerment Conference on 28 May 2016 (Saturday), 9am-5pm, at lstana Hotel, Kuala Lumpur organised by Nadia Ismadi, graduate of Curtin University with a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting and Finance, her team of passionate women and Yayasan Tun Razak.
Throughout her years in university, Nadia was the President of Toastmasters Club Curtin University Sarawak, Organising Chairperson for the Read a Book Project, and is a founding committee member for Humanitarian Affair Curtin Sarawak Chapter. She was involved with the University Scholars Leadership Symposium, Cambodia.
This conference aims to educate youth about women empowerment, form a community that encourages one another to push out of their comfort zones and take charge of their own lives albeit the status quo that surrounds women.
An interesting array of speakers who are corporate, leaders, entrepreneurs, social activists, athletes, government officers, designers, will be featured to share their experiences and secrets to success. There will be entertainments slotted in, ranging from stand up comedy, fashion show, singing and dance performance.
