MAAC Memberships

The MAAC memberships are opened only to organisations/ entities and not individual alumni. However, individual alumni who wish to join us can register their interest here.

MAAC Membership applications are required to be accompanied by a letter and an application form along with the payment slip of the membership fee. For those applying to be a Council Member, a copy of their organisations/ entities’ Constitution is also required. The MAAC Constitution provides for three (3) categories of members, that is:

Council Members

The following organisations/ entities are termed as Council Members and are eligible for Ordinary membership of the MAAC:

  •  Registered Malaysian Alumni Association of Australian universities
  • Registered Malaysian Alumni Association of Australian institutions of higher learning (other than universities)

Council Associates

The following organisations/ entities are termed as Council Associates and are eligible for Associate membership of the MAAC:

  • Malaysian Alumni Associations of Australian universities which are not registered
  • Malaysian Alumni Associations of Australian institutions of higher learning (other than universities) which are not registered

Associate Members

Any other organisations/ entities that are not Malaysian Alumni Associations of Australian universities and institutions of higher learning (other than universities) but have similar vision and missions with the MAAC.

Individual Alumni

Any individual alumni who is a graduate (undergraduate and postgraduate) of an Australian university and/ or institutions of higher learning.
